Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use tgks.com.au, our online estimate tool, the client portal or the staff app, all run by The GroundsKeepers (ABN 30 628 235 080). By using them you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
Estimates are a guide, not a quote
The online estimate tool gives an indicative price based on the details you enter. It is not an offer or a binding quote. We confirm the price and scope in writing, usually after looking at the site, and our work is carried out under that written agreement.
Accounts
- Client portal and staff app accounts are personal. Keep your password private and don't share your account.
- You are responsible for what is done under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- We may suspend or close an account to protect the security of our systems or other people's information, or when someone no longer works with us or is no longer a client.
- Staff and contractors use the staff app as part of their work with us, and their employment or contractor terms also apply. Sign-ins are recorded as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- try to see information you haven't been given access to, or get around any security measure;
- interfere with or overload the website or apps, or use automated tools to copy their content;
- upload anything unlawful, harmful or malicious, or anything you don't have the right to share.
What you send us
When you send us photos, documents or requests, you confirm you are entitled to share them, and you allow us to use them to provide and record our services.
Our content
The website, apps and their content belong to The GroundsKeepers or our licensors. You may view and print them for your own use with us, but not copy or reuse them for any other purpose without our permission.
Connected services
Some features rely on other services, such as our accounting system (QuickBooks), email and weather data. Their own terms apply to those services. Our staff app only reads information from our own accounting records; it does not change them.
Availability
We work to keep the website and apps available and accurate, but we can't promise they will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or pause features, for example for maintenance.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or apps.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the website or apps after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
